Lorena Sarria, born in Colombia SA of Spanish heritage always dreamed of being a successful actress. At the age of 17 she left Colombia bound for Miami seeking greater opportunities than her home country provided While in Miami she performed in “tele-novellas” ‘, did Spanish language commercials and modeled for several major companies. She knew however that New York was where she had to be to allow her career to grow.

Once in NY she enrolled in New York’s well known “Actors Studio” ‘, but ultimately focused on The Meisner Technique as a better fit for her. She has worked with several coaches who studied under Sanford Meisner. Capitalizing on her fluency in 4 languages -Spanish, English, Italian, French – she won roles performing in multi-national films which then helped her expand into the American movie and television industries.

She continues honing her acting skills with scene study classes, and expanding her skills with various training programs and private coaching. Lorena knows that success requires passion and an unwavering commitment to continued education and growth, and hopes that in the future she will be a role model for young girls. “As long as you believe in yourself and work hard for what you love, there is absolutely nothing you cannot do.”
